What is Neuropsychology?
Neuropsychology is the study of the relationship between brain functioning and behavior. In short, it is the fusion of neurology and psychology.

What are the benefits of a neuropsychological assessment?
Neuropsychological evaluation provides a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses. A thorough evaluation of an individual’s thinking ability and behavior by an expert in brain-behavior relationships increases diagnostic accuracy and effective treatment planning. Many disorders are difficult to distinguish from one another based on behavioral presentation alone or by a single test result which makes neuropsychological evaluation an integral component of a thorough assessment.

What are the benefits of being evaluated by a Clinical Neuropsychologist who is board certified?
Dr. Bryer has well-earned credentials to back up her expertise in Neuropsychology. She is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Clinical Neuropsychology. This credential means that Dr. Bryer's doctoral coursework and postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology met stringent criteria. Additionally, Dr. Bryer passed a written and oral exam in Neuropsychology and submitted work samples that met rigorous standards.
