Psychological Assessment / Psychotherapy
Dr.
Bryer enjoys treating adults, couples, and families struggling with issues
that are negatively affecting their quality of life. These issues might
include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, marital problems, adjusting
to disability, or behavioral problems such as managing stress/anger. Her
orientation is cognitive-behavioral which means that she focuses on helping
individuals modify their pattern of thinking to more adaptively manage
problems in their lives. After the initial information gathering session,
she will work with you to develop a strategy for tackling issues in a
timely and effective fashion.
Fees
Dr. Bryer is out-of-network with insurance companies. However, she does
have a BC/BS provider number to facilitate reimbursement. Unless otherwise
negotiated, payment for services is expected at the time they are rendered.
Many insurance plans cover all or part of the costs of psychological services.
If you expect to file for reimbursement from your insurance company, Dr.
Bryer will provide you with a suitable receipt to submit to your insurance
company so that they can reimburse you directly.
Forms
Dr. Bryer has prepared a number of forms that you can print and fill out
